Sanctuary of Souls #635

Sanctuary of Souls In hallowed whispers, wisdom ancient speaks, The Lord of hosts, a beacon bright and clear. "Amend your ways, your actions pure must be," A voice from beyond, both distant and near. Beware the siren songs, deceptive calls, "This is the Lord's temple," echoed thrice. A mantra hollow, lacking truth's deep essence, For temples are not stone, but sacrifice. True sanctuary lies in deeds, not words, In justice's path, where righteousness is sown. Embrace the stranger, lift the lowly heart, Here, in acts of love, the divine is shown. "I will let you dwell," the promise stands, In this sacred space, our spirits roam free. A haven for souls, bound by virtue's bands, Where love and justice meet, there we shall be. Amidst life's tempests, a guiding light, A call to amend, in soul and in sight. In this sanctuary of souls, find your flight, Where divine invitation turns night into light. Written by Steven G.
