The Power of the Cross and Resurrection In the shadow of the Cross, Where suffering meets divine, Lies the story of great loss, And love’s ultimate design. This emblem of sacrifice, More than pain, more than despair, A beacon of God’s device, To show us He deeply cares. Through trials, we walk, and stumble, Yet, guided by this sacred path, In humility, we grow humble, Finding peace, not wrath. The Resurrection, a promise kept, Of life conquering the grave, In Jesus' steps, we have stepped, To be brave, to love, to save. It teaches us - through the storm, Comes the calm of new day's light, Through faith, our hearts transform, Turning darkness into bright. Self-care, in His grace, Is like being born anew, In His love, we find our place, And see the world through eyes true. “For the message of the cross,” Paul whispers to the soul, “Is not of loss, but of the cause, That makes the broken whole.” So, let us hold this truth so dear, The Cross and Resurrection clear, In them, we find the courage to face fear, And in God’s love, we persevere.
