Illuminations and Shadows #644
Illuminations and Shadows
In shadow's depth, once lost, now found,
No longer bound by grief's embrace.
A fortress I become, your steadfast ground,
In your heart, a song of grace.
Sun and moon, no longer your guides,
For I, the Lord, outshine their light.
My glory's cloak around you ties,
Ending your long, sorrowful night.
But heed this whisper, soft and stern,
A caution against greed's sly turn:
Woe to those on unjust paths,
Building fortunes with deceit's crafts.
Mansions tall on falsehoods grow,
Empty rooms with no warmth to show.
The Lord's decree, clear and bright,
Calls for justice, not for might.
Between the light and shadow's play,
A journey unfolds, day by day.
A call to walk in virtue's light,
Away from darkness, into the right.
Here, in this space between night and day,
A tale of hope and warning lay.
A poem of divine embrace,
Guiding us with love and grace.
