Grace Beyond Boundaries: A Prose Poem #688
Grace Beyond Boundaries: A Prose Poem
In the quiet corridors of the soul, a whisper: What do we seek?
This inquiry, a lantern in the dark, reveals a path steeped in sacrifice,
A crucifixion, the price of transformation—
A bridge from willful exile to divine embrace.
"Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound,"
A divine paradox penned by Paul,
A testament to the boundless sea of grace
That meets our failings with open arms,
Offering passage to eternal shores through Christ’s love.
He declared, "To Him, all are alive,"
A beacon for those wandering,
A promise of life beyond the veil,
For in Christ, we find not the end,
But the genesis of eternal day.
At the heart, the cross stands—
Not as a mark of sorrow,
But as the fulcrum of grace,
Where Jesus, once outcast,
Wove our redemption in thorns and wood.
This cross, a bridge over troubled chasm,
Calls us to cross over, not cross out,
For life is a river, and we its pilgrims,
Building not houses of stone, but sanctuaries of faith.
From the shadow of this wood,
The dawn of resurrection breaks,
A victory cry over death’s silent claim,
"May I never boast except in the cross,"
For in its embrace, the world fades,
And our hearts find their true north.
This, our mantra: Dead to sin, alive in Christ,
A chorus sung in the hush of redeemed hearts,
Echoing through the chambers of our being,
A call to live, truly live,
In the boundless grace that transforms,
From the cross flows life—everlasting.
