Legacy of Light: A Compassionate Call #697

Legacy of Light: A Compassionate Call From history's depths, a lesson drawn, A tale of pain, yet hope shines on. Our spirits, marked by trials long, In suffering's echo, we find our song. Silent figures, 'twixt earth and sky, Reflect our tears, the shared cry. Their silence, a beacon, strong and high, Guides us through the darkest night, we fly. Within despair's cold, unforgiving grasp, A truth emerges, our hearts clasp. Grace's flower, in our hands, we clasp, Lighting paths with hope's firm clasp. From shadows deep, a narrative born, Of pain endured, and spirits torn. Yet, from this darkness, hope is shorn, A beacon for the weary, forlorn. This call to arms, a plea for peace, For compassion's fire to never cease. In unity, our spirits release, A legacy of love, to increase. Let this poem, a call to the heart, Remind us where our strengths start. In shared humanity, we play a part, Together, a new future we chart. With every act of kindness, a new dawn, A world of empathy, we're drawn. Our shared humanity, a bond foregone, In compassion's light, we're reborn, anon. In unity, let us forge ahead, With love and hope, our spirits fed. A world of understanding, our stead, Legacy of light, by compassion led. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 28, 2924)
