In the Wake of Resurrection: A Prose Poetry of Easter* #694
In the Wake of Resurrection: A Prose Poetry of Easter
As winter's frost melts into the first blush of spring, so unfolds the Easter tale—a narrative steeped in divine love and the promise of renewal. In this sacred season, we gather the threads of ancient stories, weaving them into the fabric of our present, a tapestry rich with the hues of grace and redemption.
Through the lens of Ephesians, we glimpse the boundless mercy of God, a love so profound it reaches into the depths of our despair, lifting us from the shadows of our transgressions. Together with Christ, we are reborn, saved by grace, elevated to celestial realms where we sit, bathed in the warmth of His kindness, a promise echoing through the ages.
Then comes the whisper of Corinthians, a testament to the transformative power of Christ’s sacrifice—a love so encompassing it dares to dream of a world reconciled. He who knew no sin took upon Himself the weight of our flaws, so we might emerge, not just as survivors of the night, but as new creations at dawn’s first light. In Him, we shed the remnants of our former selves, stepping into a day where all things are made new.
This Easter, let our hearts be the ground on which these truths take root, blooming into a garden of hope. Let Christ’s love guide us beyond the confines of our own existence, to live for something greater, something more. As ambassadors of reconciliation, we carry forth the torch of His message, a beacon of forgiveness and new beginnings in a world thirsting for light.
May this season of resurrection fill your spirit with peace, infuse your days with joy, and wrap you in the comforting embrace of God’s eternal love.
In this moment, as the earth renews itself, so too may our hearts find renewal in the wake of resurrection.
