Easter's Renewal* #691
Easter's Renewal
In the thaw of winter's hold, where spring whispers grow bold,
Easter's story, ancient, yet forever new, is told.
A narrative of grace, of love's unyielding fold,
Where divine mercies, vast, our weary hearts enfold.
From Ephesians' depths, a truth so dearly sold:
God's mercy, rich, in kindness, makes us bold.
Lifted from our night, in grace's gentle hold,
Seated with Christ, in heavenly realms, gold.
Corinthians speaks, a mystery unfolds,
Of Christ's love, a sacrifice so bold.
For us, He died, so we might break the old,
And rise anew, in stories yet untold.
This Easter, let our hearts in love be molded,
By the tale of Christ, through ages rolled.
May we live as new, in grace's endless fold,
Ambassadors of peace, in God's love, bold.
As spring reclaims the earth, and life is retold,
May Easter's promise in our hearts take hold.
In resurrection's wake, let our lives unfold,
Embraced by God's love, forever bold.
