Embracing the Extraordinary: Lessons from Cana #627

Embracing the Extraordinary: Lessons from Cana In Cana's feast, where water flowed, A miracle, quietly bestowed. From jars of stone, the mundane's brace, Came wine that time could not erase. This story old, with layers deep, Whispers of faith, a leap to keep. Ordinary, through divine breath, Transforms, transcends the shadow of death. The water to wine, a sign unfurled, A new covenant with the world. Within the common, the divine hides, Awaiting faith to turn the tides. Obedience, a theme so bold, In Jesus' time, a story told. "My hour," He said, "has not yet come," Yet through His hands, God's will was done. Trust in unseen, the servants' feat, Instructions followed, no retreat. A testament to faith's true call, Beyond reason, beyond the fall. Today, the miracle extends, An invitation that transcends. To see the divine in routine's guise, And trust the unseen, where truth lies. So let us walk this path of faith, Where ordinary's embrace waits. And in our journey, may we find, The wine from water, God's design. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 20, 2024)
