Echoes of Grace #702

Echoes of Grace (Whispers of Redemption: The Enigmatic Tale of Judas Iscariot) In shadowed halls where history speaks, Lies Judas's tale, a betrayal so deep. Thirty silver coins, a sorrowful sound, The price of a soul, where guilt is bound. A kiss in the night, under olive trees' shade, A friendship forsaken, a trust betrayed. "Have I sinned?" he cries, despair in his voice, With silver in hand, a dreadful choice. A figure of tragedy, caught between light and dark, His end comes swift, in silence stark. Yet, in this despair, a glimmer unseen, A whisper of mercy, if only he had believed. For who has not faltered, faced the night's chill? Wondered if dawn's light forgives us still? Judas mirrors us, in his fractured grace, A reminder of mercy, in our own dark place. In free will's maze, where divine mysteries unfold, Lies a path to redemption, in stories untold. Betrayal, remorse, a moment so keen— Not a judgment's end, but a quest unseen. The enigma of Judas, woven with eternity's thread, Not a tale of despair, but of hope instead. For in our deepest flaws, and in fear's embrace, Lies the endless mercy, the promise of grace. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 29, 2024)
