Echoes of Eternity: The Divine Dance #679

Echoes of Eternity: The Divine Dance In the silence where divine whispers float, God reigns, not o'er death's quiet host, "To Me, all live," He softly notes, A beacon through eternity's coast. To dwell in Christ, a dance divine, Where shadows of sin brightly decline, A call, a chorus, soulfully entwined, Among the stars, in His love, we shine. The Gospel, a shield, a light, a sword, A liberation, in Jesus' spoken word, Love's blueprint, deeply heard, Commanding souls, by His love stirred. Amidst this journey, a stern bell tolls, Against idolatry's seducing roles, More lethal than the darkest of all plagues' goals, A heart's betrayal, from light it stole. Flee, beloved, from idols' cold embrace, "Guard yourselves," from their deceptive face, Scriptures echo, across time and space, From Exodus to Deuteronomy, a warning to embrace. This poem, a canvas, faith's vibrant hues, In Christ, we find, tomorrow's news, Today's sanctity, in His love's muse, From transient chains, we're set loose. A journey within, to existence's heart, Where every step, from His love, won't part, A melody of life, in divine art, A hymn of souls, in light, to chart. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 27, 2024)
