Silver Echoes: A Balancing Act of Faith and Finance #646
Silver Echoes: A Balancing Act of Faith and Finance
In shadowed halls where whispers sway,
Ancient wisdom speaks today.
Thirty pieces, silver's weight,
Guilt's heavy toll, innocence's fate.
Betrayed for coin, a field was sought,
For strangers' rest, a lesson taught.
This tale of old, yet ever new,
Mirrors now, our modern view.
Churches walk the tightrope's line,
Between the divine and the coin's shine.
Stewarding resources, souls to feed,
Balancing growth with spiritual need.
The question asked, with gentle prod,
Do investments honor our God?
Or do we chase, with fervent pace,
Worldly gain, forgetting grace?
A field of earth for the outcast laid,
Reminds us of the choices made.
To invest in love, in life, in light,
Beyond the reach of earthly sight.
The modern church, in reflection deep,
Must navigate the waters steep.
Profit and piety, where do they blend?
On what foundation do we depend?
Let us recall, amidst our plans,
The essence of our holy sands.
For what profits a church to gain,
If it loses its soul's refrain?
In prose turned poem, the message clear,
Ancient wisdom for those who hear.
Echoes of silver, across the age,
Guide us in our present stage.
May every decision, every stride,
Align with faith, as our guide.
Investments of heart, of love, of care,
In the spirit of the field laid bare.
This journey of faith, a balancing act,
With wisdom ancient, and hearts intact.
Let "Echoes of Silver" softly say,
May we walk in grace, come what may.
