Harmony of Hearts: Verses of Unity and Grace #621
Harmony of Hearts: Verses of Unity and Grace
In the city's shadow, whispers carve,
A message in three tongues, a crucifixion arc.
Aramaic, Latin, Greek, across the skies,
A sacrifice that binds, that never dies.
"Love the stranger as yourself," the ancients cried,
For once were we not strangers, side by side?
This command, so divine, threads our hearts,
In the eyes of another, our shared journey starts.
Sodom's tale, not just vice but a warning clear,
Of abundance squandered, of hearts that couldn't hear.
A challenge to see beyond our own delight,
To extend kindness, make the wrongs right.
And in strange tongues, a prophecy is told,
Of wisdom in foreign voices, bold.
"Will you not listen?" the divine implores,
In unfamiliar accents, wisdom explores.
A tapestry of teachings, from texts of old,
Calls us to a higher place, bold.
To embrace the stranger, the needy, with open heart,
In languages diverse, a single message to impart.
This dance of existence, with grace, we move,
Empathy our guide, love to prove.
From ancient threads, a modern tapestry we weave,
Inclusion's colors bright, in understanding, we believe.
A testament to love's enduring power,
In every face, every word, at every hour.
A symphony of sacred voices, in compassion, we unite,
Echoing through ages, a beacon of light.
