The Call of the Faithful #1172

The Call of the Faithful In shadows deep where broken lies are bare, Amidst the echoes of our fractured past, We find not fault in what the fates amass, But see the truth of what we must repair. "Who do you say that I am?"—words cast Across the tumult of our searching souls, A question that each wandering heart patrols, In sacred texts where ancient voices last. Risk blooms not from the deeds that we pursue, But from the pause when faith should spur us on. To hold back while believing is to construe The greatest risk—the light of faith, withdrawn. Dare then to risk, let not your spirit stall, For in the leap, our faith becomes our all. To sit in idle hope, we risk our sum— Believe, act, transform, until His kingdom come. Written by Steven G.
