Divine Stewardship #1539

Divine Stewardship In a world where water, land, and souls are sold, Ancient wisdom whispers from pages of old, A counter to profit's relentless gain, Where justice, compassion, and stewardship reign. The land is Mine, the Lord declares, You are but sojourners, temporary heirs. Do not burden the poor with interest or gain, For I am the Lord, mercy must reign. Promote fair treatment, equitable and kind, Challenge commodification with heart and mind. Reform the systems that deepen the plight, Weave safety nets to shield in the night. Guard against pillaging Earth without care, Implement policies that show we’re aware, That future generations may inherit green, A world where our stewardship is clearly seen. Let community be a sanctuary, strong, Individualism yielding where unity belongs. Build support systems that uplift and sustain, Address local poverty with collective gain. Hope lies here, a future bright, Ethical practices placing people in sight, Economic reforms that heal and restore, Environmental efforts to protect evermore. From ancient truths, a vision clear, A world where justice and mercy appear, Where resources are shared, the vulnerable held, And the environment’s beauty is heartily upheld. Reflect on this vision, let it move your soul, Contribute to a world just and whole. Inspire with wisdom, timeless and true, Promote change with stewardship in all you do. Embrace this vision, let it guide, Foster a future with equity as our pride. Honor the divine in all we hold, Live as stewards of creation, bold. Written by Steven G. Lee (May 29, 2024)
