Balancing Internal Care and External Mission: A Future-Oriented Vision for the Church #1497
Balancing Internal Care and External Mission: A Future-Oriented Vision for the Church
In the heart of the church, where unity breathes,
Members gather, hearts entwined, a sacred weave.
Operations hum, finances flow, governance guides,
Centered on those within, where love abides.
Yet beyond these walls, a world in need,
Neighbors cry, souls to feed.
If we shift our gaze, extend our hand,
Will the church falter, or will it stand?
A tension exists, a balance to find,
Internal care, with mission aligned.
For the church is called, not just to exist,
But to serve, to love, to persist.
Holistic discipleship, we must embrace,
Equipping hearts, for every space.
From pew to street, from home to land,
A unified body, mission in hand.
Leadership with vision, clear and bold,
Resource allocation, stories told.
Partnerships with communities, strong and true,
Serving needs, in all we do.
A church that cares, for those inside,
And reaches out, far and wide.
Balancing love, for member and stranger,
In this dance, lies no danger.
For the church, in essence, is a light,
Guiding souls, through darkest night.
A beacon of hope, in unity and mission,
Fulfilling its purpose, with divine precision.
So let us rise, with hearts aglow,
Internal care, and mission flow.
For the church, in all its grace,
Exists to bless, every place.
