Clarifying the Domains #1591
Clarifying the Domains
In the realm where facts are sought,
Science builds with what is taught.
Empirical truths, measured and clear,
In nature's laws, its vision near.
Philosophy walks a different way,
In realms where meanings softly sway.
Not in the tangible does it confide,
But in the abstract, where thoughts reside.
Wittgenstein spoke of language's art,
The limits where our worlds do start.
Science speaks in facts, precise and bright,
Philosophy finds truth in meaning's light.
In measured words, science declares,
The world as it is, with careful stares.
Philosophy asks, "What does it mean?"
In spaces unseen, where thoughts convene.
Two paths diverge, yet intertwined,
One seeks the facts, the other the mind.
Together they dance in human thought,
Each in its way, the truth is sought.
For where science ends, philosophy begins,
In questions of why, where meaning spins.
Wittgenstein’s wisdom clears the haze,
Guiding us through these intricate ways.
In clarifying domains, we find our stance,
In the dance of thought, in knowledge’s expanse.
Science and philosophy, side by side,
Illuminate the world, where truth and meaning abide.
