The Silent Storm #1499
The Silent Storm
In the quiet of a shared home,
Where love once bloomed and dreams did roam,
A storm brews fierce, unseen, unheard,
A silent cry, a broken word.
Intimate, yet violence calls,
Not just in bruises or in brawls,
But in the quiet, subtle ways,
The darkened nights, the weary days.
He throws her things, her memories,
Her hopes and dreams, her sanctuaries,
Each item tossed, a silent blow,
A deeper wound, a hidden woe.
The photos lost, the letters burned,
The sacred spaces overturned,
In every act, a power play,
A bid to break, to make her sway.
But in the ashes, strength is found,
A silent scream, a muted sound,
She gathers shards, she mends her heart,
From every tear, a brand new start.
For in the dark, the light will shine,
A spirit strong, a soul divine,
And though the storm may rage and roar,
She'll rise again, forevermore.
