Traditions hold us, comfort us, guide our steps, Robes, music, ceremonies, each with a story to tell. Yet, we must look beyond, see with hearts unclouded, For in the clamor of formalities, the spirit may be lost, Neglecting the simple, profound work of living our faith in truth. Christianity’s essence lies not in structures, but in the soul, In the warmth of a helping hand, the kindness of a stranger, In the courage to stand for justice, the humility to forgive, In the unspoken prayers of a weary heart, the silent strength of love. Let us not be caught in the splendor of outward forms, But in the quiet revolution of the heart, the spirit’s gentle flame, Living the teachings of Christ in each moment, each breath, For true faith is found not in what we build, but in how we live.
