A Vision for Justice and Equality #1501
A Vision for Justice and Equality
In the chaos of a world where people are used,
And wealth is hoarded like treasure buried deep,
We turn our hearts to ancient wisdom,
Where timeless truths in sacred verses sleep.
Listen, you who dwell in luxury's embrace,
Your gold and silver corroded, your riches turned to dust.
The cries of the workers, their wages denied,
Reach the heavens, proclaiming the injustice.
Speak up for those who cannot speak,
For the destitute, the poor, and the weak.
Judge fairly, defend the needy,
For in their plight, we see our own humanity.
Loosen the chains of injustice,
Untie the cords of the yoke.
Set the oppressed free,
And let the hungry be fed with love's tender stroke.
Share your bread with the hungry,
Shelter the homeless with open arms.
Clothe the naked, turn not away,
For in these acts, hope and justice charm.
In a vision of unity, where all are one,
No one claims possession, all is shared.
Grace works powerfully, no needy among us,
For generosity and compassion are dared.
Seek first the kingdom, His righteousness true,
And all these things shall be added unto you.
Tears will be wiped away, no more mourning or pain,
In a world renewed, justice and peace shall reign.
Let us embrace this vision, future bright,
Where fairness, compassion, and love take flight.
For in the tapestry of our shared humanity,
Lies the path to hope and true prosperity.
