Strategic Faith: Genesis as the Bedrock of Nationhood #1191
Strategic Faith: Genesis as the Bedrock of Nationhood
In lands where myriad gods did reign,
Genesis stood, a lone refrain.
Not merely faith, but strategy,
A nation's blueprint, meant to be.
Monotheism, bold and stark,
A unifying, central mark.
From scattered tribes, a nation's frame,
One God, one voice, one sacred claim.
Amongst the clamor of divine,
Israel's path would clearly shine.
A single deity to guide,
Where others' loyalties divide.
From Genesis, a story told,
Of one true God, both fierce and bold.
A covenant like none before,
A promise of much more in store.
This text, more than a holy scroll,
Shaped politics, a larger role.
A rallying cry in tumult's midst,
A narrative none could resist.
In unity, they found their strength,
Across the breadth, across the length.
Of promised lands and battles fought,
By monotheism, peace was sought.
Thus, Genesis, in ancient days,
Was not just worship, not just praise.
But a nation’s heart, against the odds,
A strategic move by the hands of gods.
