Title: Looms of Legacy: The Tapestry of Genesis #1190
Title: Looms of Legacy: The Tapestry of Genesis
In ancient sands, where city-states rose,
The weavers sang—their threads composed
A tapestry of divine decree,
Genesis spun from history.
Oral tales in twilight's fold,
Written words in scrolls of old,
Shaped by hands of those exiled,
In their heart, a homeland styled.
Prophets spoke with voices clear,
Priests aligned the cosmic sphere,
Merging myth with covenant,
A unified testament.
From Babylon to Egypt's shore,
Legends met and mingled lore,
Floods and gods in storied dance,
Israel's own to enhance.
Monotheism's bold refrain,
Echoes through the desert plain,
One God to rule the boundless sky,
In His word, their fates rely.
Creation not just told but transformed,
In Hebrew minds, new myths conformed,
From chaos to a ordered land,
All under God’s commanding hand.
Samuel’s voice and David's crown,
Wove the threads that tied them down,
To a land, to a lore, to a lasting creed,
In their scripture, a nation freed.
This tapestry, this woven dream,
Serves more than at first it seems—
Religious, cultural, political frame,
In Genesis, a people’s claim.
Each thread a story, each hue a right,
Crafted in the ancient light,
Through Genesis, they understood,
Their identity, their common good.
So let us read, let us see,
In this ancient tapestry—
How history, faith, and politics blend,
In the Book where beginnings never end.
