Risen Feet #1135
Risen Feet
(Living Gospel)
The Gospel breathes deeper than words can touch,
its spirit too profound for syllables alone.
So let our hands shape the message,
our lives speak it truer than tongues can tell,
for "prove yourselves doers of the word," echoes James,
"and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
Glory lies not in the untouched heights of perfection,
but in the fearless flight that rises
each time we falter and fall,
a phoenix of resilience in the dust of despair.
True strength finds its rhythm in the unfaltering ascent,
brushing the dust from our knees and climbing once more.
Even the slowest step onward sings with promise,
for faith’s compass whispers, “Do not stop.”
Each journey to the cross is its own,
unfurling on paths uneven and rough,
but with every step, it leads
to a greater good, a truer light,
that shines not only for the wayfarer,
but for neighbors, communities,
for the ones to whom the message
is lived in the grace of risen feet.
