Where Demons Dance and Swine Swim #1136
Where Demons Dance and Swine Swim
In the realm where shadows twist and swine dare to dive,
Jesus strode upon this scene, where a man's cries slice the night.
Demons flinch at His gaze, their torment now to end,
Into the swine they flee, a steep descent, a watery grave they find.
Economic Waves, Swift and Cruel
Like industries shattered by the unforeseen,
Two thousand swine swept away, echoes of a darker theme.
Warnings ripple through the waves, chastising greed’s embrace,
A lesson from the deep—unbridled profit leads to waste.
Resist the Light, Cling to the Known
From the throngs a plea arises, shrouded in dismay,
"Depart from us," their voices quake, fearing change’s sharp array.
This chorus, a mirror reflecting our own trembling souls,
When the comfort of the familiar fights the new roles.
Shadows of Injustice Cast Long
A man emerges from the night, unshackled, finally free,
Yet his liberation stirs not joy but townsfolk's ire, not glee.
Scapegoats found in foreign forms, blame placed on the healer’s head,
Obscuring true malaise, leaving deeper issues unsaid.
This poem of swine, of spirits cleansed, spins a tale we know too well,
Of upheaval, resistance, economic tales that swell.
As the swine plunge, they beckon us to reflect deep and true—
To embrace change with open hearts, and face what’s just and due.
