Graceful Ascent The Gospel transcends what words can touch, A spirit too profound for language to clutch. In action, we embody the message's song, Living as doers who bring forth the strong. "Prove yourselves doers of the word," James cries, "Not just hearers, deceiving your eyes." Glory blooms not in perfect flights high, But in rising each time that we stumble or sigh, A phoenix emerging from despair's dusty breath, True strength ascending from doubt and from death. The slowest step forward still holds its weight, When faith’s whispered promise says, "Do not wait." Each journey's a path, unique and uneven, Yet each step draws us closer to the greater good given. A light shines brightly through every embrace, For neighbors, communities, a world touched by grace. In living the Gospel, we rise, ever meet, With love on our lips and grace in our feet.
