Compass of Love #1249
Compass of Love
God loves us at our darkest,
a lighthouse in the tempest.
In the storm, where shadows twist,
praise blooms like roses in the rain.
To look down upon another is to cast
a shadow upon your own face,
a reflection of a tarnished soul.
The gospel is a seed planted in the heart,
bearing fruit in the hard soil of the everyday,
where we must live with neighbors as kin.
In Leviticus, the call echoes through time:
"Love your neighbor as yourself: I AM THE LORD."
May we heed this truth,
a compass guiding us through each dawn,
an anchor holding steady in every tide.
