Anchor in the Tempest
(Compass of Love)
God loves us in our darkest storms,
a lighthouse in the twisted night.
In the tempest, shadows dance,
but praise blooms like roses in rain.
To look down upon another
is to tarnish our own reflection.
The gospel challenges us to live
with neighbors as kin,
to sow seeds that bear fruit
in the soil of each new dawn.
"Love your neighbor as yourself:
I AM THE LORD."
Hold this compass close,
guiding us through the tempest,
an anchor steady in every tide.
