Echoes of Grace: Footsteps in Faith #481

Echoes of Grace: Footsteps in Faith (The Divine Dance: Living the Gospel Through Deeds) In the quiet whispers of dawn's embrace, He walked among us, a beacon, a grace. Actions speaking in a divine tongue, Jesus, the carpenter, silently sung. Parables lived, not merely told, A mirror to our souls, bold and cold. Blind leading blind, a story unfolds, In His actions, the truth He holds. "Lord, Lord," we cry, yet stray, He asks us to build in His way. Upon the rock, not sand, we must lay, His words, the foundation, come what may. His life, a sacrifice, penned in love, The cross, His signature from above. To preach the gospel, to live it true, Every breath a verse, every deed a clue. Worship not tied to place or time, But in spirit and truth, a rhythm sublime. Our songs have drifted, words over deeds, Forgetting the gospel in our creeds. Back to the essence, He calls us near, Faith and action, a dance to revere. The gospel lived, in every breath, A symphony of faith, defying death. Let us follow His steps, a path divine, Our lives a poem, each verse a sign. Love, serve, act — the gospel's call, In deeds, not words, let's give our all. For in this dance, we find our place, Living the gospel, His grace our base. "The Divine Dance" — our lives proclaim, In Jesus' steps, we live His name. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 5, 2024)
