Echoes of Divinity: A Reflection on Freedom and Service #603
Echoes of Divinity: A Reflection on Freedom and Service
In the shadow of oppression, where choices fade like twilight,
The Son of Man wandered, a figure of celestial plight.
"Foxes have their dens, birds their nests in flight,
Yet I find no haven to rest through the night," He sighed,
A testament to the dearth of refuge, the essence of constraint.
Yet, in this constriction, a beacon flickers—truth, a liberating light.
"You will know the truth," He promised, "and it shall cut your bonds, bright.
Freedom, not as the world gives, but as the soul takes flight."
From the divine, a blueprint for growth, action, and insight,
Love at its core, a guiding principle, burning ever so bright.
To those nearest, we owe our care, our daily rite,
A bow of gratitude to neighbors, in their wisdom our light.
Reject the titles, the worldly accolades that blind our sight,
"Call no man Rabbi, no person a leader of might,
For One is your guide, Christ, the eternal light.
And the greatest among you," He taught, "shall be the servant, the knight."
Thus unfolds the divine narrative, a dance of darkness and light,
Where freedom springs from truth, and greatness from humble might.
Love, the underlying force, turning the ordinary, bright,
A call to serve, to love, to live with insight.
