Between Words and Deeds* #604
Between Words and Deeds
In a world where words like rivers flow,
And deeds like shadows, silent, grow,
A call to hearts, both near and far,
To bridge the chasm, to heal the scar.
Gathered around, a seeking throng,
Voices raised in unified song.
Yet beneath the melody, a silent plea,
For actions and words to finally agree.
"Behold," whispers judgment, soft and stern,
"For integrity's path, you must learn.
Not by words, but by deeds, we find our worth,
In the quiet moments, away from the earth's mirth.
And when you stand, stone in hand,
Ready to judge, to make your stand,
Remember the echo of your own past,
The shadows and lights your deeds have cast.
For who among us, pristine, unmarred,
Can claim a soul, from blemishes barred?
Let the stone fall, let judgment pass,
Embrace compassion, as fragile as glass.
This is our message, a beacon, a guide,
To walk in empathy, with hearts open wide.
For in understanding, in mercy, we find,
A deeper connection, a more enduring bind.
So let's share this thought, let it take flight,
A journey from darkness into light.
Where words and deeds in harmony blend,
And in their union, our spirits ascend.
