Between Tradition and Tomorrow #531*
Between Tradition and Tomorrow
In the quiet spaces, whispers of ancient faith call,
Where modernity’s rush meets the serene divine,
A crossroads, mirroring Jerusalem’s own walls,
Where hearts, heavy with laws, missed love’s fine line.
Our church, amidst the digital waves and commerce cries,
Grows, adapts, yet risks the essence of its creed,
In capitalism’s dance, its new embrace, we realize,
The core teachings — love, compassion — are what we need.
Navigating this world, where markets set the pace,
Let’s question, challenge, with love in our critique,
Aligning with the good, embracing each face,
Championing justice, community, what Jesus did seek.
This journey through faith, tested by time, by change,
Invites us to share, to reflect, to dream,
Of a Christianity that breaks capitalism’s strange,
A faith transforming, transcending the stream.
In contemplation, hope, let’s converse, connect,
On this modern path of faith, guided by ancient lights,
Between tradition and tomorrow, let’s introspect,
Walking together, under the stars, through the nights.
