Whispers of the Divine #195

Whispers of the Divine In the canvas vast, where cosmos stretch and whisper low, Beyond the grasp of earth, a mystery does gently blow. A divine enigma, dancing just outside our ken, In cosmic play, a shadow of the divine then. Transcending limits of the tangible, sound, and sight, Wrapped in God's mercy, in His grace and light. Defying understanding, to a sacred dance we're called, With Christ, the divine plumb line, our hearts enthralled. To depths uncharted, beyond the physical we're drawn, In the tangible world, where God's presence dawns. Not vast nor small, but in reality's weave, God's presence whispers, if we but believe. Echoes of truth, in joy and grief, in right and wrong, Upheld by Divine standards, where kingdom values belong. Not in honor or wealth or poverty's guise, But in God's love and mercy, our true prize. Blessed, say Matthew's words, are those who kingdom see, A vision, a gift, for you and me. A transformation, through faith, we're born anew, To eternal truths, our senses hew. Hebrews speaks of grace's throne, boldly to approach, In need, in storm, God's mercy to encroach. Psalms sing of mercy, of patience, love, and light, Proclaiming God's goodness, in Jesus' sight. From senses limited, to God's grace we awake, In Jesus Christ, our journey we partake. Beyond the temporal, to eternal virtues, we're drawn, Mercy, grace, and love, in the dawn. Thus, our worth, our existence, in these truths we find, In mercy, grace, and divine love, our lives entwined. A poem of faith, of divine call and response, In God's kingdom, our existence, our essence, ensconced. -Written by Steven G. Lee (February 3, 2024)
