The Dance of Divinity: A Poem #352

The Dance of Divinity: A Poem In the vast expanse where silence meets song, A story unfolds, ancient and long. Here, in the realm where faith takes flight, A figure emerges, bridging night and light. Jesus of Nazareth, in history's embrace, Walked among us, a testament of grace. His footsteps, a rhythm on the sands of time, His voice, a melody, profound and sublime. In the fabric of existence, tightly woven, The human and divine, mysteriously cloven. A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, Yet, in his gaze, a promise of relief. Beyond the boundaries of what eyes can see, Christ stands, a beacon of eternity. A divine mystery, cloaked in human form, In his presence, the heart finds a storm. The dance begins, where earth and heaven meet, In the steps of Jesus, both bitter and sweet. A paradox at the heart of our creed, A call to follow where his paths lead. Theology, a quest to understand, The dance of divinity, hand in hand. A foundation built on the life he led, With eyes on the Christ, ahead. In this journey, we are not alone, For in the dance, the way is shown. A path that holds in tension, light and dark, Guiding us to where the eternal sparks. So, let us embrace this sacred quest, With hearts open, and spirits blessed. To see in Jesus, both human and divine, A love that transcends the bounds of time. This is our calling, our story to weave, In the dance of divinity, to believe. To hold in balance, the earth and sky, And in the mystery of Jesus, to forever rely. Written by Steven G.
