Echoes of Grace: From Cain to the Cross #419

Echoes of Grace: From Cain to the Cross In the woven depths of ancient tales, Where Cain walks, marked yet spared, A thread of grace through history sails, To where the cross, stark and bared, stands declared. This tapestry, of old and new intertwined, Speaks not of wrath, but of mercy divine. A question posed under starlit skies, "How many times must forgiveness arise?" "Not seven," He said, "but seventy-seven times more," A sea of grace, without a shore. This is the essence, the heart's core, Of a love that opens every door. From the mark on Cain to the wood of the cross, A journey of mercy, no matter the cost. A reminder, profound, in every loss, That love's true measure is not our alms but His gloss. In this dance of divine, a lesson so deep, Forgiveness not counted, but sown to reap. A call to action, to awake from sleep, And into our hearts, this endless grace to steep. So, let us walk in the shadow of this grace, Forgiving beyond the bounds of time and space. For in the light of mercy, we find our place, And in the echo of divine love, we trace The path laid out by the marked and the crossed, A journey of redemption, no soul lost. Written by Steven G.
