Whispers of Eternity: A Prose Poetry on Creation, Renewal, and Divine Constancy #357
Whispers of Eternity: A Prose Poetry on Creation, Renewal, and Divine Constancy
In the silence before time, in the void before space, there whispered a word, a breath, a divine utterance—"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). From this whisper emerged the symphony of galaxies, the dance of stars, the cradle of earth, swaddled in the warmth of celestial light. And within this cradle, life, in its myriad forms, began to unfurl, each note of existence a testament to the Word, who was with God, who was God, through whom all things came to be (John 1:1-3).
Then came the Word, cloaked in the flesh of man, the image of the invisible, the firstborn of all creation. In Him, the cosmos found its anchor, the fulcrum upon which heaven and earth pivot. For through Him, by Him, and for Him were all things made (Colossians 1:15-17). And in His gaze, the old creation beheld its renewal, its redemption—a canvas washed anew, ready for the first stroke of dawn's light.
Upon the rugged beams of the cross, a mystery unfurled—a message, folly to the perishing, yet to us, the very power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18). "I am making everything new!" declared the Voice from the throne, a promise as steadfast as the stars, a future written not in stone, but in the heart of eternity (Revelation 21:5).
Yet, amidst the ebb of time, amidst the flux of creation, stands the Unchanging One—Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, forever (Hebrews 13:8). Not a jot, not a tittle shall pass from the Law till all is fulfilled (Matthew 5:17-18), for in the fabric of the universe is woven the immutable threads of His commandments, laws that guide the dance of galaxies, the rhythm of hearts, the arc of souls towards their eternal home.
This is the Divine Tapestry—woven from the whispers of creation, dyed in the blood of redemption, stretched upon the loom of eternity. Here, in its folds, we find the past examined through the lens of Christ, the future painted with the hues of hope, and the immutable laws of God binding all in a dance of divine harmony. Here, in this tapestry, we stand—gazers, wanderers, seekers—finding in its patterns the story of all things, the signature of the Creator, the echo of our own becoming.
