The Servant's Crown #346
The Servant's Crown
In the shadow of His cross, He softly spoke,
"Weep not for me, but for your own,
For children yet to understand and cope,
In this tender urging, His love was shown.
On a path of sorrows, He bore a light,
'Not for me,' He whispered, 'but for the least,'
In servitude's embrace, find true might,
For in giving, not taking, we find peace.
The tree of faith has grown, wide and tall,
Yet yearns for leaders who Christ's path trace,
Not in titles grand, but in serving all,
In humility's dance, we find His grace.
So let us walk, with steps both brave and kind,
In servant's shoes, true greatness we shall find.
Share this verse with hearts open wide,
For in Christ's steps, we walk side by side.
