Between Spiritual Resolve and Earthly Dilemma: A Poetic Reflection #308

Between Spiritual Resolve and Earthly Dilemma: A Poetic Reflection In the weave of time, divine and human threads entwine, A moment stands, transcending the earthly, touching divine. Jesus before Pilate, a tableau of contrast and light, Where spiritual resolve and worldly dilemmas unite. Pilate, the worldly, offers a chance to escape, A custom, a gesture, in the political landscape. Yet Jesus, in silence, sees beyond the present hour, His mission, His purpose, vested with heavenly power. "It is finished," He declares, not in defeat but victory, A triumph over sin, death, the grave's mystery. A bridge over the impassable, from earthly to divine, In Jesus, we find the way, the truth, the life's line. This encounter, a beacon for our own journey's course, Reminds us to seek the kingdom not of this world's force. To navigate life's trials with our eyes on the eternal, Embracing our divine call, in love's embrace fraternal. Let us, dear friends, in this reflection find, A call to live with heavenly purpose in mind. To walk in footsteps of Jesus, our path to trod, Carrying hope, love, redemption, in the light of God. So, in the dance of divine and human interplay, May we find strength, courage, hope along the way. Between spiritual resolve and earthly dilemma, we stand, Guided by Jesus's light, in His love, we expand. -Written by Steven G. Lee (February 15, 2024)
