Harmony in Faith: A Dance of Mercy and Light #350

Harmony in Faith: A Dance of Mercy and Light In the heart's quiet, where shadows play, Greed and bias shape the clay. The gospel stands, unchangeable, yet seen Through countless eyes, where veils intervene. A chasm vast, from heaven to earth, it spans, Demanding deep reflection from all clans. To truly know, to feel its might, Engage with open heart, let in the light. Read, believe, learn, and then practice, Find in these acts, the gospel's true axis. Its power, simplicity, in these actions we find, A beacon for the troubled, searching mind. Perspectives vary, like stars in the night, Not fully grasping God's mercy, so bright. Do these differences, then, us truly define? Or could mercy's embrace make them benign? Scriptures echo, from Ephesians to John, The call for mercy, forgiveness, to lean upon. These aren't just words but the soul of our faith, A path to unity, to a kinder wraith. In this journey with the gospel, as we sway, Let mercy, compassion lead the way. Our differences, in this light, softly blur, Bound by love, by grace, we concur. So, let's share this dance, this understanding deep, In mercy and compassion, a harvest to reap. Together, in unity, our differences we'll embrace, Walking in the gospel's ever-glowing grace. Written by Steven G. Lee (February 20, 2024)
