Manifesto of Authentic Living: A Prose Poetry #331

Manifesto of Authentic Living: A Prose Poetry In the quiet hours, beneath the watchful gaze of the stars, A whisper stirs within, calling us to a dance of authenticity, To live not by words alone, but by the deeds that bloom From the fertile soil of the Gospel. It is a path laid by the steps of the one who embraced the outcast, Fed the hungry, and clothed the naked— A journey of embodying love, daily. This is not a call to wear righteousness like a cloak, Visible to the world yet hollow beneath. For what worth is the adoration of lips When hearts wander in distant lands? Jesus spoke, a voice echoing through time, Casting light on the shadows of hypocrisy, Revealing the empty tombs adorned with pretense, Beautiful on the outside, yet within, A void where truth should reside. Hypocrisy, the unforgivable vice, For its repentance is but a masquerade, A cycle of deceit spinning on itself. To stand against this tide, To raise a voice in the silence, Is to plant seeds of change In the garden of complacency. Yet, in our quest for authenticity, Let us wield compassion as our sword, Understanding as our shield. The battle against ignorance demands not our wrath, But our patience, for enlightenment Blooms in the soil of gentle rains, not tempests. Let this be our manifesto: To live a life that mirrors the teachings of love, To stand firm against the specters of falsehood, With hearts open and hands extended. In the reflection of our actions, May others see a beacon of hope, A testament to the power of living truth. In the poetry of our existence, Let each day be a verse in the anthem of genuine faith, A melody of actions speaking louder than words, A harmony of hearts aligned with the divine. This is the essence of our journey, A call to embrace the Gospel, not just in thought, But in the very essence of our being. Together, let us walk this path, Guided by the light of authenticity and action, For in the end, it is love that will echo Through the corridors of time, A legacy of truth, compassion, and genuine faith. -Written by Steven G.
