Unchanging: Verses on Constancy Amidst Change #1129
Unchanging: Verses on Constancy Amidst Change
In the stillness of forever,
where time weaves but never wears,
a steadfast echo resounds:
"Jesus Christ is the same—
yesterday, today, forever."
Hebrews declares an unchanging truth
in a world of relentless change,
where the Immutable commands—
God, Love, the Eternal.
Why do things persist, why beings stir?
Beneath the surge of motion lies a singular force,
a principle unyielding,
binding all in unity—
our lives, our bodies, verses in a grander poem,
interwoven threads in the tapestry of existence,
crafted by divine hands.
Scriptures speak—Corinthians, Romans, Ephesians—
painting us as Christ's own body:
diverse yet united,
functioning in harmony, a purpose shared.
Our governance must mirror this unity,
not fragmented, not swayed,
but steadfast as the bedrock upon which it stands.
Let us anchor in that which does not falter,
amid the flux, the steadfast beacon in our tempest seas.
Here lies the secret to rule amidst time's tides:
true control rests on the unchangeable,
not on the whims of change.
This is our call—
to find harmony in the eternal,
to govern with the constancy of stars,
to remember, amidst the cacophony of change,
the silent strength of the unchanging.
Here, in the heart of permanence,
we find our peace, our order,
our enduring governance.
