From Swords to Plowshares #1204

From Swords to Plowshares If we do not still the drums of war, they will silence us. In the echoed teachings of the carpenter from Nazareth, a call rises— from the clash of iron and the spilling of blood, to the mending of hearts and the joining of hands. "Put your sword back into its place," He whispered to the tumult of ages, "For all those who wield the sword shall fall by the sword." In these words, a revolution— not of armies, but of spirits; not of conquest, but of reconciliation. Let us lay down our arms, and with open palms craft tools from our weapons, bridges from our barricades. For if war defines our legacy, it will write our epitaph. But if peace is our choice, we shall sculpt a future where war finds no purchase. Written by Steven G. Lee (May 6, 2024)
