Eternal Flame of the Spirit #1140
Eternal Flame of the Spirit
In the infinite canvas of the night,
Stars flicker out, their old light spent,
And the moon fades from sight,
Leaving shadows where it went.
Yet in this void, stark and deep,
There shines a light that does not sleep.
Your light, a beacon steadfast and sure,
Outshines the sun's fiery lure.
It's not bound by celestial fade or flare,
But burns within, bright and rare.
A spark that seven days' light transcends,
In you, where life begins and ends.
This inner glow, where the soul finds voice,
Turns darkest nights into days of choice.
It fears no dusk, nor welcomes dawn,
A perpetual light that’s never withdrawn.
Cloaked in the radiance of your own flame,
You walk through time, untouched by the same.
So bear your light through the endless ages,
A beacon bright in history's pages.
For in the dark expanses we roam,
Your spirit's fire forever our home.
