Crown of Peace #1252
Harmony in Grace
Seek first the kingdom where purpose blooms,
Contentment woven in trust's embrace.
In this world of wants and hungry tombs,
The Spirit flows, a river of grace.
Where lilies grow, hearts find their rest,
Bread shared beneath the sacred trees.
Simplicity stands tall, steadfast, blessed,
Its fruit whispers, "Find peace in these."
Bring only thirst to waters clear,
Leave treasures and toil that weigh you down,
For life's not what your hands hold near
But what your spirit overflows around.
Better the smallest lamp that glows
With holy fear than gold that burns,
Better a humble crumb that shows
Wisdom than a feast that leaves us spurned.
The Spirit rests and calms the strife,
Its music grants us lasting peace.
In harmony, it gifts new life,
And crowns us with a joy that won't cease.
