A Call to Grace and Mercy #1224
A Call to Grace and Mercy
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy," whispers the verse,
A compass needle pointing toward grace.
To show mercy is to extend hands, to forgive the unforgivable,
To open the shutters of the heart and let the light of kindness stream in.
Yet in the world's shadowed corners lurks the main danger—
People doing everything or nothing, but always without grace.
They wield indifference like a sword and ego like armor,
Stampeding with pride through cities of dreams, crushing the soft soil of love,
While those who do nothing
Turn their faces away from the suffering, letting darkness nestle deep.
But mercy is the fertile ground from which peace can bloom,
Where wounded hearts find solace, and enemies find common ground.
To the weary and the broken, mercy is the balm,
The gentle whisper that promises a dawn after the longest night.
Inaction holds no power here,
For mercy rises, a lighthouse against the tumult of neglect.
Grace shines with the brilliance of morning dew,
Restoring the weary traveler, urging every soul to love,
To forgive, to breathe compassion into every fractured crevice.
Let us lean into grace, extend mercy with open hands,
And become beacons in this restless sea,
The embodiment of harmony, in a world yearning for warmth.
