Navigating the Modern Maze* #540

Navigating the Modern Maze In canyons clad of glass and steel, Where ambition shadows over feel, And digital whispers drown the real, Ancient wisdom, to us, appeal. A timeless query, old as breath, Of justice, morality, life and death. Yet in these questions, whispered clear, A challenge divine draws near. Not just to endure, but to excel, Not in minor struggles to dwell, But against the chariots to rebel, And in true mettle, our spirits swell. The modern Jeremiah walks, Among the city's paradox. Timeless wisdom in his talks, A universal journey unlocks. Not a narrative of despair, But a call to action, clear as air. To face our chariots with a stare, And navigate life's snare with care. A reflection, a call, a race, To find in modern pace, a grace. To race with horses, in this space, And among the stars, find our place. This poem, a conversation, a reflection bright, Inviting us to pause, in life's swift flight. To reflect, engage, and with might, Find our stride, in the grandest of night. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 11, 2024)
