Mercy's Embrace: A Beacon Through the Shadows #524*

Mercy's Embrace: A Beacon Through the Shadows In the heart's quiet chamber, a whisper unfolds, A truth profound, in warmth it holds: The essence of darkness, not in the night's embrace, But in mercy's absence, a void, an empty space. Our bonds, fragile, thread by thread unwoven, By shadows of ego, ignorance softly spoken. Yet, mercy, a beacon in turmoil's relentless sea, Does not wait for calm, for perfection's plea. It finds us, broken, amidst our chaos sown, In messes made, where light has scarcely shown. A testament, divine, that mistakes, vast as the sky, Are but whispers against mercy's boundless reply. Consider the forgotten, those shadows among streets, Half of souls wandering, once baptized in faith's meets. A shepherd's tale, one lost from the ninety-nine, Asks of us, to seek, to leave no one behind. For in the reversal of fortunes, a divine jest, The last embrace first, in this test. A revolution of grace, where the least find their place, In the heart of the kingdom, by mercy's embrace. Let this be our path, woven from compassion's thread, Where judgment falls away, and love takes its stead. For in each act of kindness, a ripple through time, A world transformed, by mercy, sublime. So, carry this beacon, let its warmth spread wide, Through acts of grace, let love be your guide. For in mercy's embrace, we find our way, To a dawn brighter, a kinder day. Written by Steven G.
