Harvests of the Heart: A Spiritual Odyssey in Verse #536
Harvests of the Heart: A Spiritual Odyssey in Verse
In the woven tapestry of the spirit’s lore,
Three tales entwine, revealing more—
A fig tree, barren, under sun’s embrace,
A testament to appearances, a mirror to our face.
(Mark 11, Matthew 21, Luke’s narrative flight,
Luke 13's verses, under the same light.)
A figure hungered, sought what wasn’t there,
Found leaves, no fruit, in the air’s warm stare.
Freedom rings, choices in our hands like clay,
Yet, from consequence, we cannot stray.
“Death, the wage of sin,” so Romans spoke,
1 Corinthians echoed, a solemn yoke.
Tears for outcomes, yet sin’s embrace tight,
A human plight, in day and night.
Then Luke 6 whispers, “From good trees, good fruit,”
Bad yields bad; it’s the root’s absolute.
Our actions, our fruits, the heart’s true song,
The good and the bad, where they belong.
A mirror to our essence, to what we contribute,
In deeds, in love, where our hearts root.
The Essence of True Fruitfulness—a call,
To look within, beyond the gall.
To see through facades, to the heart’s core,
To align our deeds with something more.
To bear fruit that speaks of who we are,
Underneath the surface, near and far.
Choices and consequences, in a dance so divine,
A path to tread, a line to define.
Let us nurture within a garden so bright,
Where good deeds flourish in the light.
Through the tales of old, a message we weave,
Of authenticity, the heart’s true reprieve.
In this journey, may we all partake,
Inspiring others, for our collective sake.
To bear good fruit, in life’s vast expanse,
In every choice, in every glance.
The Essence of True Fruitfulness, let it be our guide,
In each heart, may true goodness reside.
