Embracing the Infinite #550

Embracing the Infinite In dawn's quiet whisper, in life's stormy clash, A call resonates, deep, profound, vast. Not a path of moments, but of marrow and soul, Where faith is a journey, and surrender, the goal. Peter stood, shadowed by divine decree, "God forbid, Lord!"—a plea from you and me. But Jesus, stern, a light in dark, did say, "Beyond human wants, my path does lay." The heartbeat of the universe, a command so clear, "Love God, love others,"—a call to hold dear. Not just words, but life's essence, pure, A love so vast, it's the only cure. At the cross, under a darkened sky, Love's purest form was lifted high. A sacrifice, profound, for all to see, A garment torn, yet souls set free. This journey of faith, of love, of light, Is not of ease but of divine might. To embody His love, His sacrifice, Is to tread a path of ultimate price. In embracing the infinite, we are reborn, Not to merely follow, but in His image, be adorned. A transformation deep, a life anew, In love, in faith, in surrender true. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 13, 2024)
