Echoes of the Spirit #558
Echoes of the Spirit
In heart's depth where faith and love entwine,
Echoes the silent truth, profoundly divine.
Not in the preacher's polished, echoing call,
But in faithful lives, offering their all.
A tale from Paul, with grace interlaced,
Whispers not of wisdom eloquently placed.
But in spaces where fear and trembling meet,
God's strength emerges, in weakness complete.
What is the Gospel, if devoid of love's action?
Not mere doctrine, but life's truest expression.
Through vulnerability, Paul's journey does say,
In our folly, divine wisdom finds its way.
Let's tread this path, less walked, yet revered,
Where Spirit guides and wonders are endeared.
Not by wordy might, but by love's gentle shove,
We're led by the Divine, in the heavens above.
Share then this Gospel, not just in word, but deed,
For through our living, the Spirit plants its seed.
A witness borne in grace's simple flair,
Mirroring Jesus, in the now and here.
On this faith voyage, let love steer our quest,
With humility beside, and the Spirit in our breast.
For in our genuine showing, we truly find,
The Gospel's power, to change humankind.
