Echoes of the Divine #554
Echoes of the Divine
In the cosmos' quiet weave, where stars
Drape light across the velvet dark,
A whisper floats, both near and far:
"True justice rests in the Divine's heart."
Beneath a sky where Abraham stood,
Pleading for the righteous few,
Mercy's dance, misunderstood,
Reveals salvation, pure and true.
Through Jerusalem's ancient streets, we roam,
Seeking one who mirrors light above,
A quest that shows us our own home,
Yearning for a goodness, we're devoid of.
"Why call me good?" the Son's voice rings,
A mirror to our deepest thirst,
For only from the Divine springs
The purity for which we've always searched.
Imagine now a Redwood, grand,
Casting seeds into the breeze,
A single tree, by divine hand,
Can forest empty lands with ease.
In shadows deep, where tears do flow,
And hearts for unseen comfort yearn,
The Divine whispers soft and low,
In love's embrace, we begin to learn.
This tapestry of stars and dreams,
Of divine justice, mercy's touch,
Calls us to follow heavenly beams,
To grasp the goodness we seek so much.
Let us carry this divine echo,
Planting seeds of righteousness in our wake,
In our journey to reflect, to show
The divine goodness we strive to make.
For in the vast, unfolding divine play,
In each act of kindness, each seed sown,
We find the path, the truth, the way,
To turn barren hearts into a forest grown.
