Divine Call: Navigating the Eternal Balance #458
Divine Call: Navigating the Eternal Balance
In Matthew's shadowed tale, a voice seeks leave
To honor earth's call and lay a father to peace.
Yet from the Christ, a light divine,
Comes a call that cleaves the night:
"Follow me, leave the dead to their own kind."
Not a denial of duty's weight,
But a shift, a divine recalibrate,
Urging souls to weigh their truth
On scales where heaven outweighs the roof
Of earthly binds and patriarchal state.
This isn't to abandon kin or kith,
But to raise the quest for God as myth
To reality, where His whisper guides
Every choice, every turn besides.
In pursuit of Eternal, all else is myth.
Christ's words, a veil torn between now and forever,
Urge us to choose life, in its highest endeavor—
A path of devotion, unwavering, pure,
Where love for the Divine is the ultimate cure
For hearts torn between earthly bind and heavenly lever.
As we walk the tightrope 'twixt earth's call and divine beckon,
May this balance guide, a lighthouse that reckon
Our course through the storm, to shores unseen,
Where in God's embrace, our hearts lean,
Fulfilling both commandment and the soul's reckon.
